Privacy Policy

At Karl Siu Craft (throwouthebook.com), your privacy is important to me (as far as my own liability is concerned). As a one-person business, I am committed to protecting the personal information you share with me (and to not get sued). This policy explains what information I collect, how I use it, and your rights regarding your data.

I actually read through the boiler-plate and made edits, and made sure it’s legit as fuck. That’s a real legal term by the way.

Information I Collect
I collect only the information necessary to provide my products and services. This includes your name, contact information, shipping address, and payment details when you make a purchase or get in touch. I don’t have your whole credit card number, I don’t have your pin or security code; I am not the merchant service provider, I only have what is necessary to send you your stuff.

How I Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to fulfill your orders, communicate with you about your purchases, respond to inquiries, and send occasional updates or promotional offers if you have opted in. I do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. If your information is compromised I urge you to seek professional identity and data recovery services, identity theft is no joke.

Data Security
I take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss (my passwords are strong, according to Google). However, please understand that no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, unless you are sending messages via quantum-encrypted carrier pigeons you have trained since birth.

Cookies and Tracking
My website may use cookies to enhance your browsing experience. I have no actual idea if it does, it’s up to Squarespace because I have no idea how that works or what cookies I am offering you — certainly not chocolate chip. Apparently —cookies help remember your preferences and improve functionality but do not collect personally identifiable information without your consent. I am also not tracking you for any reason, nor do I have any desire to, that’s the F.B.I.’s job.

Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information (if I can locate it). If you want to review or update your details or opt out of communications, please contact me directly. You can also probably unsubscribe from any newsletter from the newsletter itself. If you’re reading this, you probably know how to, or you should.

Changes to This Policy
If I update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted on my website in this exact place with the date of the latest update.

Contact
If you have any questions or concerns about your privacy, please reach out to me at the contact page on my website. If you found this, you can find that.

Thank you for supporting Karl Siu Craft (throwoutthebook.com).

Your trust matters. Please don’t call your lawyers, lets work it out.
